Code of ethics
As members of the National Federation of Real Estate Buyer’s Agents (FNCI), we are committed to respecting the Code of Ethics which precisely defines our profession.
- The members of the National Federation of Real Estate Buyer’s Agents (FNCI) are real estate professionals specialised in buying or renting properties. They commit to complete confidentiality and impartiality while exclusively representing the client’s interests.
- The members of the National Federation of Real Estate Buyer’s Agents (FNCI) commit to holding a professional license to sell real estate. The ‘Carte Professionnelle Transaction’ or ‘Carte T’ is annually renewed and issued by the local Prefecture.
- The members of the National Federation of Real Estate Buyer’s Agents (FNCI) commit to abiding Law n°70-9 of January 2nd 1970 (known as the Hoguet Law) which regulates the real estate profession.
- The members of the National Federation of Real Estate Buyer’s Agents (FNCI) commit to drafting a Property search agreement which specifies the criteria, the cost and the duration of the property search. A service provision contract may also be issued if the client opt for any additional services.
- The members of the National Federation of Real Estate Buyer’s Agents (FNCI) commit to respecting the complete confidentiality of the client’s information and not to disclosing any data unless it has been previously agreed with the client.
- The members of the National Federation of Real Estate Buyer’s Agents (FNCI) commit to regularly informing the client on the progress of the mission and on the properties visited.
- The members of the National Federation of Real Estate Buyer’s Agents (FNCI) commit to transmitting detailed visiting reports to the client so that he can decide whether to visit or not to visit the properties. FNCI members commit to assisting the client till the sale or lease agreement.
